As a QA Inspector, you would be part of our team responsible for ensuring that our aerospace clients receive only the highest quality parts. Individuals in this role are responsible for real-time product inspections, quality training, and client communication. Individuals who thrive in this position have an eye for detail, enjoy objective decision-making, and are systematic thinkers.

Regular schedule is 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday. Potential overtime opportunities on Fridays.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform First Article Inspections and create the necessary documentation to prove product conformity.
  • Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products to ensure that all fall within customer specifications and requirements for form, fit, and function.
  • Read and understand aerospace drawings.
  • Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with company quality assurance policies.
  • Perform an accurate physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
  • Maintain compliance with our QMS system in accordance with AS9100 Aerospace Standards.
  • Prepare required documents for compliance and traceability.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance reports (NCR) as required.
  • Manage workload to ensure a smooth flow of products.
  • Ensure inspection tools used for inspection have been calibrated and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
  • Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs.

Qualified applicants have:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Experience in blueprint reading preferred.
  • The ability to read a tape measure and ruler in tenths.
  • The desire to make a positive impact within the organization.
  • Willing and able to work in an open office environment.
  • An excellent eye for detail.
  • Able to stand for the duration of a shift (10 hrs) and lift 10 pounds frequently. May lift 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Able to see variations in color because of product inspection requirements.

Benefits package includes:
Starting wage for this position is $19.00 - $21.75 depending on experience.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked.
After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
After 5 Years: 120 hours 30 hours paid Holiday during Christmas week

Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are paid for 10 hours after 1 month of employment.
Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits: Eligible for coverage on the 1st day of the month following completion of 60 days of employment.
Tuition Assistance: Eligible after 6 months of employment.
401(k): Employer match based on the profitability of the company.
Technology Reimbursement: Eligible after 1 year of employment.
